But first of all, what is Pega:  Pega is a low-code software platform that helps organizations build applications to automate business processes, manage workflows, and make smart decisions using AI and rules. It’s widely used in industries such as banking, insurance, healthcare, and government to enhance efficiency and improve the customer experience. Saying that, to create the application, you can do it from Dev Studio following these steps: Log in to your Pega environment and click on Application and then New Application. It will appear showing the option to build from scratch or find an application type that Pega has already OOTB. If we click on search all types, it will show all the applications already created in Pega or the OOTB application that has all the assets predefined. Exam Strategies to pass PEGA CSSA Certification

Hi Everybody, im about to get my Pega Senior System Architect certification, and I would like to share with you my exam preparation and strategies to pass the exam. I started to analize first the exam blueprint, which you can find at the following link. i chose version 24.2 because it's the last available version of Pega. In the blueprint, we can find the topics and the percentage of questions that will be on the exam. Based on that, I did my math (Well ChatGPT did ), and came up with the following strategy to pass the exam.


Exam Overview (From Pega Academy)

  • Number of Questions: 60
  • Duration: 1 hr 30 mins
  • Passing Score: 70%
  • Platform Version: Pega Platform ’24.2
  • Prerequisite: Must already be a Certified Pega System Architect 
  • Pega Academy

Data and Integration 19%     11

Strategy for Passing:

Focus on High-Weight Topics

Application Development (17 questions)

Data and Integration (11 questions)

Security (10 questions)

Case Management (9 questions)

Aim for at Least 42 Correct Answers

If you master the top 4 topics, you already cover 47 questions, which is more than enough to pass.

Don’t Ignore Small Topics

The remaining topics (User Experience, Reporting, Performance, and Mobile) contribute 13 questions. Answering a few of these correctly gives a safety margin

Hi, in this tutorial, you will learn how to create a SOAP in Pega. To do so, we are going to use the service creation wizard. In dev studio, click on Configure > Integration > Create SOAP Integration  . It will open up the wizard. The first step is to provide the WSDL URL, which is the address where the XML document describing a web service can be accessed.  For this example, we are going to use the following WSDL: http://www.dneonline.com/calculator.asmx?WSDL.
